The current conservative government of Israel is a gross violator of human rights. The sanctions imposed by Israel against the Palestinian people are causing poverty, hardship and terrible human suffering. The current Israeli government has no interest in negotiating for a peaceful agreement. Also, think about what it seems that Israel really wants; a country with one type of people, all of the same religion.
The US government needs to actually work towards peace, which means an end to unconditional support of Israel.
(I know that plenty of people in Israel care greatly about human rights, and not all of them support the current conservative government.)
